Introducing
Olu Bryki Raum
brewery
Olu Bryki Raum is a Finnish craft brewery with roots dating back to 2007. Since 2021, the brewery has been proudly operating in the historic coastal town of Rauma known for its rich maritime culture and wooden old town.
What makes Olu Bryki Raum truly unique is its dedication to ancient beer traditions. It is the only brewery in the world focused exclusively on brewing beers based on pre-1000 AD methods and styles.
Specializing in Sahti, one of the world’s oldest beer styles, Olu Bryki Raum preserves a nearly forgotten part of Finnish cultural heritage. Sahti is a traditional Finnish farmhouse ale brewed without hops and flavored with juniper, offering a rich, smooth, and distinctive taste. It is typically unfiltered and naturally fermented.

Once central to rural Finnish life, the Sahti tradition has nearly disappeared. Luckily Olu Bryki Raum is committed to keeping tradition alive.
In addition to its ancient beers, the brewery produces high-quality, small-batch craft beers inspired by both local character and international styles. Through tastings and storytelling, visitors can experience authentic Finnish craft beer culture and enjoy a rare taste of Finland’s living brewing history.
